Cataromarket is the leader of the Polish market of comparison websites for dietary catering. Our cooperation focused on a critical element of the purchasing path — the checkouts process. Through in-depth analysis of data and user behavior, we have transformed a complex order form into an intuitive, fast and transparent tool that realistically increases sales and builds trust in the platform.

The main challenge was to reduce the phenomenon of abandoned carts by simplifying the very complex ordering process (multi-stage selection of calories, delivery dates, diet variants and payments). We had to eliminate information chaos, introduce a clear structure of steps and optimize the interface for mobile users, for whom the previous form was illegible and difficult to fill out.

  • UX audit and Hotjar analysis: Analysis of session recordings and heat maps to locate points where users opt out of a purchase.
  • Optimization of the Shopping Path (Checkout Redesign): Restructuring the procurement process into clear stages with a progress indicator (Progress Tracker).
  • Interface Design (UI Design): Creating a modern, clean design with clear visual cues and an intuitive label system.
  • Mobile First Design: Fully optimized forms and buttons for mobile devices, ensuring the convenience of using your thumb.
  • Preparation of documentation for developers: Development of a complete UI-kit and components, facilitating the smooth implementation of changes by the IT team.
